Blind Gaming - Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis - Part 1 - Full Audio Captions and Commentary and a Launch of a New Genre of Accessibility Gaming

Accessible gaming - gaming for everyone

This is the kind of video I always wanted to make when I launched PixelBeep. Accessible for everybody, showcasing the best of video games and working with a fantastic co-host. Games are fantastic and we should all be able to enjoy them regardless of what challenges are in our way. Both Ginger and I grew up playing games more than we did anything else and we are convinced it was a good thing. We turned out to be good folks. But games have also helped us to cope with different issues and phases of our lives, as they are helping countless other people every day. Us gamer, we are a hidden nation, a long lost tribe that the world is slowly becoming aware of. We should stick together, team. Go go go...

Blind gaming - gamers facing challenges, gaming with disabilities, disadvantages - overcoming obstacles together

Blind Gaming is an inclusive gaming series from PixelBeep Channel that is trying to present the best of videogames in a format that is accessible to everyone. Many of us are challenged in gaming, not by the design of a particular game, but by physical, sensory, mental or other forms of impairments, disadvantages and disabilities. Regardless of who we are and what challenges we face, we can all appreciate the best of gaming together.

For a very long time, the idea to celebrate some of the best games created and sharing enjoyable moments was something that fascinated us, but it was only when I saw the accessibility options that companies like Apple implement in their devices to enable as many people as possible to appreciated gaming that I realized that Blind Gaming is what I want to do.

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis - complete captions and commentary play-through

Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis is a legendary video game adventure by Lucas Arts, so good that it was supposed to have a movie made after it. Old-school controls, tons of text, fiendish puzzles, multiple story-lines and heaps of fun. A true pearl, a wonder of a story everyone should experience. Funny, witty, magical and touching, we chose this title to be the first entry in the Blind Gaming series. Besides the YouTube embed above, there is also a MixCloud audio-only file available.
